Who is Sheffy Eloul?
- A beautiful, caring, generous, optimistic, hopeful individual who spent her life in service to others & the betterment of her society.
- Single mother (mine), L.A. Social Worker (1980s-1990s) – children in South Central/East L.A./Downtown; runaway teenagers; Geriatric Alzheimer’s clients. 2000 She worked with children & teenagers with learning disabilities as an Educational Therapist. 2002, diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Was unable to work when it affected her vocal cords. Without assests or savings, she is currently living off of SSN ($747/month) which does not cover her basic needs. May 2010, lost use of legs/lower body – she was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis -ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's disease - a progressive, fatal, neurodegenerative disease caused by the degeneration of motor neurons, the nerve cells in the central nervous system that control voluntary muscle movement. Sheffy has lost the control of her legs & lower body & is currently in the a wheelchair.
- She is in need of aid - energetically, financially – for the full time care that she now requires.
